    Re: Dresden, Saxony greets the Quaich

    Once again a fine brisk sunny day and a chance to take the Quaich for a short trip to Radebeul, which is just outside Dresden. There were 2 destinations,the first being the Karl May Museum. Karl May has written many adventure books dealing with the Old West,the Indian nations and the Orient. He introduced us to Old Shatterhand and Winnetou. Believe it or not he never visited any of the countries in his books. The Museum is in the original house which he bought. Known as "Villa Shatterhand.
    We toured the Museum with the Director and he did not get out of drinking from the Quaich.






    The lady in Red is my partner.



    This Gentleman lives in the Teepee from April to October



    The Guardians in the Garden





    Every year in May the Museum hosts a Karl May Festival duration 3 days
    following photos were taken at the Western breakfast, where you can buy Bison sausages.
