Here's the proof

I grew up with all the sheep farmers in the border country. They were never as clean as you have on I can assure you that is a Scott Tartan. Wold I wear it? I am not sure but if and when I get enough cash I will be getting one. You look great in the kilt.

It is the Shepherd tartan (as worn by Lowland Scots and Northumbrian shepherds), Scott of Buccleuch is the same with narrow blue stripes, while Burns heritage check (in honour of Robert Burns) has the same Shepherd tartan check with thicker stripes in Hodden Gray (from A Man's A Man For A That), containing narrow stripes in dark green to represent Scotland's countryside.
