Re: Scottish Country dancing
I was at our club on Thursday night. I happen to be the Prsident of the group (A Dutchman in charge of a Scottish Country Dance club)
I mentioned the Global virtual Hamish pub crawl, and one of the older members gave a chuckle. Turns out that Hamish is a bit of a practacle joke (Sorry Ham) They useed to send this dead mouse around to various clubs. Get this, they had dubbed the mouse Hamish.
Be very, very careful, Robert!!! I hope you mean that the name "Hamish" was a practical joke and not that Hamish IS a practical joke?!!!
Actually, the name is quite popular for dogs too - especially Sheepdogs. That's why I hated the name when I was a child!
I think I just lost my agent Kanuck status.
Dancing is rather fun, my wife enjoys it, and it's something we can do together.
Cheers
Robert
