television: The Great British Food Revival

Its on everday at the moment over here. Some of our top chefs championing a return to good locally produced food rather rather than the mass produced stuff we buy in supermarkets.
Its a good programme but TV has gone overboard with cookery programmes over here. Every other programme has got either a cook or a makeover type theme.
If you get BBC1 then watch out for Frozen Planet with Sir David Attenborough, now that is the BBC at its best.

Thanks for sharing that. I gave up the tv wasteland a few years ago, so I stream or use YouTube, too. Cooking is a passion of mine, so I'm always looking for new recipes. Last night's dinner was lobster hash cakes. Delicious!
