I have a gold colored angel coin that someone gave me during a very disturbing event in my life. I rigged up a plastid covered wire wrap around the outside edges with a loop to put it on a necklace or use as a kilt pin or that type of ornament. It's not often that I wear it, and somewhat as a reminder. I have one other necklace that I wear in the same infrequent way, and for similar reasons.
I used to carry them with me in my pocket or my pack all the time at first, though.
