I have just seen a picture taken from a film newly distributed in French cinemas

A film full of gore and violence, on pretext of telling some historico-religious tale, which has been onb American screens for some time already.

But horror of horrors: the Roman soldiers were depicted wearing bifurcated lower garments, like some uncouth barbarians !!

I certainly won't be going to see that film.

Soldiers in trousers? What is the world coming to?
