I have a set of Ian Kinnear poly smallpipes. Despite owning them for a year, I have yet to find the time to get fully onto them, but the fingering is the same. I can play them in the house too, which is a huge bonus.
BTW, reel pipes have been around a long time before Fred Morrison. MacDougall of Aberfeldy were advertising "reel pipes" in the mid 1800's.
