Re: question for the Marines
I have to concur with the other Marines here. I don't think Marines ever think much about what others think or say or do . . . unless they're on a big Army base and outnumbered! 
And one thing you have to understand: if you're not a Marine, you don't understand. 
I always make it a point to thank any veteran when the occasion arises. I try to speak to active duty personnel and even offer a beer or a meal in the air port. And I go out of my way to thank the few WW II vets around--Last Man Standing is how they are refered to in these parts.
So thanks, everyone who ever served in any way. And Semper Fi, Marines.
