Re: Still In Full KILT JUNKIE Relapse Mode...
Ron ol' chum, I feel your inner struggle!
I thought I was over it too but I've just crumbled again. My resolve it appears, is as sturdy as a chocolate biscuit.
My latest (this week) is going to be a made to measure Bobilishious "too good to miss" 16oz 8yarder in Black Watch weathered, pleated to the sett.
Picture nicked from Madmacs from another thread. Used here for illustration only, hope you don't mind.
For a while now I've stopped posting about new Kilt acquisitions. They were becoming fairly frequent and I got the feeling from a couple of comments that some folks thought I was bragging. This was not the case, I felt I was just sharing the excitement I was feeling but I toned it down anyway and I haven't done a review type post for ages.
I am really over the moon with this one. I've bought from Bobilishious before and have never had anything but top quality Kilts at most attractive prices. I too am as bouyed by "retail therapy" as you obviously are and the buzz for me is even better when the strike hits what I regard as a good bargin...
I've been wishing this particular Kilt for a couple of years now. I've persuaded myself it isn't part of my addiction... It's just a well considered Christmas present to myself. My wife doesn't quite see it like that though. This will be Kilt 21 and although it will probably be my last, it's reassuring to know I'm not alone in my addiction... (yeah OK, course it'll be your last John!)
