How you rate:

6 - 10: Good effort, but as Robert the Bruce discovered: "if at first you don't succeed, try try again."
11 - 15: Not bad, you ken your stuff but if you give it one more try you may just come out as clan chief.
16 - 20: Congratulations! You really are a chieftain o' the quizzin' race.

P.S. Decided NOT to wear the kilt as I'm riding my motorcycle and it was only 29 degrees F when I left the house this morning. But I am duly informing the untutored masses about the significance of this day...

8 of 20 on the quiz, but I must admit that not being a native scot really puts you at a significant diadvantage. Did get the one golf question right, even though I could not name more than about thirty of them.
And being kilted did not really give any advantage either, obviously.

Woefully poor 11 on the quiz. More reading and catching up, less Laphroig.

Happy St. Andrews Day - 11 out of 20, not too bad considering I only knew the answer to three or so questions, cheers!

Re: Happy St Andrews Day!
St Andrew's Day 2011 toast of Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix, and picture as promised. Dressed in midnight blue herringbone Harris tweed jacket and waistcoat, Allen 1996 tank by Bonnie Heather, wolverine fur Inveraray sporran by Ferguson Britt, charcoal piper's hose (grabbed by mistake in the early morning light---meant to grab the navy blue ones), red flashes, red pinpoint stripe shirt, red and navy patterned tie, Nunn-Bush brown brogues.

A toast to the day and to all my kilted brethren and those of scottish heritage the world over.
