    Thank you everyone. I really do feel honored by the acceptance. The best advice I can give for people wanting to submit an application is to contact the Society. Dr. Simon Gilmour is the director and great guy. He and another person on the board sponsored my application since I did not know a Fellow.

    In life after the military I am planning to be a historian/professor. Scottish history is one of my interests along with military and US. The Society has a fantastic repository/library of historic and archeology writings etc.

    Best of luck on your endeavours, and if you're not a member already, I would also suggest looking into Phi Alpha Theta, the History Honours Society:
