I'm surprised a bit by how seldom most people here see kilts in public.

I work at Disneyland and I see men walking around in kilts regularly- not every day, but once a week I would say.

Nearly always the kilts are Utilikilts, and usually the men are from here on the West Coast, particularly the Pacific Northwest (which goes to figure because that's where Utilikilts are from).

More rarely I see tartan kilts, sometimes "casual" or "sport" kilts, sometimes traditional kilts.
