No I am not an armiger, though I do like he idea of the blanket pin especially in silver. For now I will keep the simple modern thistle pin I have on it now until I find something more suitable. This kilt was commissioned after my Uncle passed away, he was in the Royal Navy during WWII. Therefore I was hoping to get a pin that both goes well on the kilt and says something about my late Uncle.
