Thanks for the link to the cantles. I've been looking for one just like their antique brass. 
And Clear Creek is a great source for all kinds of DIY projects. Hides, cones, leather of all types. It's worth a trip to Sedona just to visit their store. Last time I was there I spent two hours browsing one day, then went back again the next day to spend more times in the fur room. Awesome.
