Boot color/tights color with tartan skirt

I wear black with blue/red based and brown with green/yellow based fabric colours.

I used to be far more psychedelic and at my first encounter with a professional lighting man slumming it in amateur dramatics for his wife's sake, his eyes opened wide and he gasped 'I don't have to light that do I?'

My wife (She of the Shapely Stems) owns boots similar to both. Unfortunately, that means the primitive limbic areas of my brain have drowned out all considerations save one.

I picture my wife in those boots and all I feel is brownbrownbrownbrownbrownbrownbrownbrown

If it were me, I'd go for the suede boots, and match the skirt with mustard tights. (Very "IN" right now)...

Being a certified bikini inspector/adviser, I feel that I am qualified to comment on this.

Beside, my wife has trained me.

I would recommend brown tights with the brown boots. The tartan is in earth tones, I think, and brown will go with it best.

But then, if you choose black, that will look fantistic. (signed by, Ole Jim, Ambasador to Lassies at large.)

Sounds like you have to look at Sock Dreams...in spite of the fact that they're a leg wear store for women, several of the guys have had success with their long socks as kilt hose.

I dont think Im wild enough for mustard tights

My skirt isnt mini enough for the tights to really be the focal point.. it's like mid-knee length and then my boots are knee high so it would only be a peek-a-boo of tights.

Would grey look bad? How about matching the greens in the skirt with green sweater tights? You men with your crazy colored hose are making my boring taste in tights wackier than before.
