As for your original question, I get lost in a great novel - one that sweeps me away to Romantic adventure/excitement, like "The Mysteries of Udolpho", or one that has me continually asking myself "What in the hell is going on here!?", like "The Sound and the Fury" or "Wuthering Heights". Tempus fugit. 
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
As a guy whos played in punk, metal & rock bands & now plays blues/rockabilly, I am kinda confused bout "real music".
