Re: Almost Kilt Season (for me)
It's been up in the 80s here for a few days.
Odd weather, I suppose, for the Burns Supper that I'm piping at tonight: bone-dry, hot Santa Ana winds howling, all the clouds blown away out to sea, and the relentless sun beating down.
Well, that's the day anyhow. Yesterday evening it was amazingly lovely, with the warm wind and the sky crystal-clear so that the moon and all the stars were distinctly visible, as opposed to our usual haze and smog.
Pretty much any time of year is Kilt Season here!
