My favorite Kilt outfit



USA Kilt 5 yard wool kilt in the muted hunting MacNicol tartan and lovat blue jacket, waistcoat, and argyll hose. Smart daywear is my very favorite look for highland attire and just love all these pastel colors. I have a lovat bonnet now to go with the outfit and might change the sporran for a simpler one, but beyond that I think this outfit is a winner.

This tartan was designed by Rex Tremende and he gave me this material as a gift of friendship. THE Barb Tewksbury made this kilt and believe me her legendary reputation here on XMTS is well earned. This is one of two Heatherfield tartan kilts in existence and both are made by Barb. The colors are amazing. The thought that went into this tartan show Rex's great knowledge of tartan, style, and color.
