Ideal leather for plain sporran with lots of junk in it?
My sporran has a lot of junk in it. It's just heavy, there it is.
I am looking for plain black, not too shiny, not too flat.
Do I want vegetable tanned and black oil based dye, or latigo or what? Just plain black leather, not ostrich or bullhide or anything crazy, just plain black strong leather.
Yeah, I got a 20 ounce item in there, I'll be going with the 3/4" strap and strap loops wide and high on the sporran back. No, I am not going to take it out and leave it at home.
Thanks,
AK
