Re: Using the Urinal Kilted
Two nights ago at the bar, a guy walks past me to the stall (only one urinal in the place) and from the stall, he says loudly "Man, that's got to be the best part of wearing a kilt!"

He's close. The best part is "the chicks dig it."
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

No big deal, but then he opens his mouth;
Him: What is that? (not the best opener in a bathroom)
Me: Huh ?
Him: That bag, (refering to my sporran, which I've slid around to my left hip) is that skunk?
Me: It's called a sporran, and yeah, it's skunk.
Him: It's cool looking.
Me: Thanks.... at which point I was done and left.
I doubt I could have gotten through that conversation without being a smarta$$. Too many opportunities. Too many.

Re: Using the Urinal Kilted
Best one for me was at the zoo. I went in and there were some 18-20 something year olds in there when I went in. As they cleared the door to the facilities, they all busted up laughing... and promptly shut up as I exited right behind them. As I left them, I heard one of the dates of the laughers say, "That is rather nice..." Of course, she had to be talking about the guy old enough to be her father(s best friend) in the kilt!
I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.

Re: Using the Urinal Kilted
I don't pay attention to anyone else while I am in there doing what comes naturally.
I always kilt up before I leave the house ( or my campground ) for the games. I see many guys putting on their kilts next to vehicle doors at the last moment. That is simply not me. I care not if I need to stop at a highway rest area, coffee shop, or for some gasoline on the way. For me it is just part of the experience. If someone takes offense, the so be it.

I never realized it...but you are right. Several experiences of mine, they put a stall between me and them...and even gone to the sit down spot. Obviously, those folk have had the p!$$ scared out of them, and need to address the issue...

Just thought I'd add this, as I spotted it earlier - a perennial problem north of the border, I guess!

Hehehe... I've thought about that before, as I know many of us have, but I've never seen a cartoon, until now. Thanks for posting.
