Pondering Adding a Front Apron Pocket: Contemporary Canvas

Oh, ok. That isn't really what I was thinking about with this pocket. It could be a patch pocket, like on the back of jeans, or the cargo pocket that has the folded sides that expand out, like bellows. I can't remember the term for that, but it's a lot like a box pleat.

I just got mixed up.

The hardest part about it would be finding the same color of canvas. Of course, you could always use a different color. Making the pocket would be relatively easy, if your sewing machine can handle sewing through multiple layers of canvas.

I've put them on several of mine, althought I did do it while I was making the kilt from scratch. My kilts are more along the lines of UK and X-mark kilts, so the apron is around 11 inches. I use it for my keys, using a D-ring and chain to the belt loop. Also good fun with a phone on vibe, many jokes can be made.
