I'm out in the boondocks - waaaay down in the SW corner. I'll be in Yukon for the Highland games this year though

well, they're not much - long day at work and the camera was dying, so my wife just grabbed a few quick shots.

normally I don't wear garters with boots, but I wanted to see how the tartan flashes looked, so I made an exception. I'm still not totally sold on them, but my wife thinks they're pretty slick, so they'll probably come out quite a bit.

Oh yeah. Looks real nice. I actually think it looks rather "at home" with a t-shirt and boots!!

I'm not sure how much "natural light" we're getting with our odd Winter this year, but I'll see what I can do this weekend (I'm not home while the sun is up this time of year).

thank you for the effort. scruffy was not on my radar until i saw this thread. my number one choice for a usa kilt (well, eventually) was hollyrood until i saw your pics, and scruffy looks much nicer than in the "computer swatch." ok--and i like the dropkick murpheys connection.
