    I had a motorcycle jacket years ago that was made with similar retro-reflective objectives in mind. The fabric was impregated with glass beads that reflected light back to the source. Made the jacket light up BIG TIME, when lit by the headlights of other vehicles on the road. Same idea is used in the grey reflective stripes on road crew safety vests, firefighters' clothing and helmets, EMS, and other people doing road crew or public safety jobs.

    I've been eyeing up their stuff for awhile, too pricey to pull the trigger right now. Would love to get a their take on an urban tartan.
