Well, HoC's decision not to knit tan/khaki kilt hose aside....I'm afraid I have to say that the "King is naked."
I only had one semester of Color and Composition as part of my minor in textiles. But also had to learn the color wheel as part of basic art class in college...and, maybe its my monitor or something, but I just don't see the "pink" working with the blues and greens in the kilt.
Yes, others may see it as working, but I don't. Don't see the "pink" kilt hose as doing anything but drawing the eye away from the tartan. At first glance I wondered if perhaps the Duke was color blind (a question pondered, not meant to insult), or if those were his "lucky" kilt hose.
Just my opinion...nothing more.
