Somehow I've never heard of this place before - yet so many of my family and friends are commemerated at some of the monuments. Most touching.

Thank you, John, for an amazing set of images. D'you know, I was absolutely unaware of this memorial area here in my own country? This proves I need to get out more! It is all of 200 miles from here and currently way beyond my travel abilities but, as soon as I am able, I will be heading there. Thank you so much for opening my eyes.

Excellent and very poignant pics John.
I hadn't heard of the National Memorial Arboretum until I read your thread and then I just HAD TO Google it to learn more!
Another one to add to my "to do" list along with the Royal Air Forces Memorial at Runnymede in Surrey.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.
