How to hang up a kilt?

I was also afraid the wooden hangers where a bit too rough for the material.and for heavey kils, like my leather R kilt, I use 2 jangers one on either side of the kilt IE one on the front one on the back.

The wooden bars usually have strips of felt on the inside edges, to protect the kilt fabric and to give a better grip.

I must have the cheap ones then, never seen the ones you talk about, the ones I have pull on the kilts a bit.
