    kilt check woes

So tonight was one of my friends wedding. It was nice and I had a good night. My wife was in the wedding party and honestly were both glad it's over. I'm just getting to old for weddings.
Anyway the one token jerk kept up with the smart remarks all night long and it stayed getting old by the end of the night. Well out of no wear he walks up to me grabs the front of my kilt and tried to lift it. My knee jerk reaction was to grab him by the throat and stand him upright. I felt the anger swell and I gently pushed him back. He is lucky I'm not the man I was 5 years ago. It took a lot to walk away with out beating his face to a bloody mash but I did and I felt like I was more of a gentleman than him but I still fantasized about giving him the boots.
So have any of you been assaulted in such way and what did you do and how did you feel?

Here's the proof of the kilted night. Here's me and my beautiful wife.

Had a drunken college age gay man run his hand up my leg under my kilt...just spun away from it and he was so drunk he fell on his face.

    My only kilt check...

Sounds like your "attacker" was wasted too....if he was sober - that'd be REAL sick...

Glad you were able to resist the smashing of his face, Cowher, you might have gotten blood all over your outfit.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Both your beautiful wife and you look great! I hope the memory of the rudeness fades with time, or becomes something you can look back at and laugh.

You two look great, I hope the rest of the night was good. I'm glad it was you and not me. Against my better wishes, I would probably have introduced him to my knee. The few times someone has tried (who was not of an acceptable intimacy) the night ended poorly.

There was a drunk Irish lass at the pub one night as I was going down the stairs and she was coming up, but I'd noticed her antics earlier and I was ready for her so I just held my aprons down. A little later she actually tried to get me to dance, waving her @r$e in my face. I just shook my head.

I'd say you handled yourself well. He maybe could have used a strong yell in the face while you had him there, but you showed good restraint not thumping him.

PS One is never too young or too old for weddings, one simply finishes earlier.

Well done. My knee-jerk reaction would have been to jerk my knee into the nearest sensitive target.

I would have been tempted to break his arm!
If he was drunk then good to hold back but if he was sober then he has a problem!
    You two look great.

Youre a very handsome couple. I think you handles it tactfully. I know would have called sexual assault or laid him out ... or both.
