Where can I
I've been asked more frequently as time goes by where people can get a kilt. It just happened again the other night. I decided to stop depending on memory, which ain't too sharp anyway, and printed up some business size cards with the names and URLs of kiltmakers on it. Now I can just give em a card and save my poor brain from overwork

I hate to brag! But for the past four or five years I have been carrying a selection of similar cards - I carry whichever is appropriate to what I am wearing: if I am wearing a "21st Century Kilt" I carry a card giving the "TFCK" address, 'phone number and website along with my own 'phone number. Similarly, when in a Utilikilt I carry one of their cards with my own sticker on the back. It's the same for Geoffrey (Tailor) Ltd., Kinloch Anderson, Amerikilt, Club Kilts, Midas, Savannah Kilts, etc., etc.

yeh Hamish sure you hate to brag, no - you are well organised that is for sure.
I do it with a printed sheet, maybe kiltmakers could send a bunch of cards with the kilt they ship out?
USAK sent me one, but I keep it for myself. Bear sent a leather "card" and no ones' getting that!

Better yet lets get a finders fee. After so
many purchases from referrals we get a free Kilt!!! Well it was worth a try.

Many do, Graham. "Utilikilts" usually pop about 50 of their cards in one of the kilt's pockets on despatch, also a car sticker. "Midas" and "Amerikilts" give about 20 cards with every garment. I am sure the idea is spreading.

Graham,
I know that Bear has business cards on his site so that you can just print them off for yourself. I believe that Utilikilts has this too.

KML when I last spoke to Howie (TFCK), he was talking of just that, having referral discounts but he was unsure how to work it. But maybe having business cards with a blank for the referers name.
