how do I put on a fly plaid?

This is about where I wear it.



I hate the thought of sticking a pin through my jackets so I have a heavy brooch and I wear it a little lower on my shoulder than some choose to do,I find that also when I wear it alittle lower it tends not to pull on my jacket as much.That said if you don't pin it to your jacket it will slide around through the night and you'll have to fiddle with it from time to time.If you want to pin it to stay in place I would use safety pins(the smallest that will do the job)and pin it on the back side under or near the brooch, so the pins are hidden under the plaid.
