Anybody notice that they watermarked ALL the pictures on that website?? How about all the spelling mistakes??
I noticed too that the instructions for measuring for a kilt state,"Place a cloth measuring tape just above your eyebrows and loosely measure round the circumference of your head."

It did, however, occur to me that one of the reasons that some of these Far Eastern merchants pilfer these images is because they're trying to sell to a Western clientele and can't find Western looking models locally. A couple of years ago, when I was looking for a super-hero costume for Halloween, I looked at a lot of sellers listings on ebay wherein the person in the Superman, Batman and Captain Marvel costume was obviously Oriental and it was pretty apparent that the characters they were posing as were not a part of their native culture...thus it was a little unreal.
Once again...not that this excuses the blatant theft.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

i had a girlfriend who joined the jet program out of college to teach english in japanese high schools[had a girlfriend--she kept extending the stay a bit too long--though i did visit her for an amazing month in fukuoka]. she made a lot of extra money modeling. as beautiful as i thought she was back then, i do not think she could have modeled in the u.s.
by the way, i shot for the college paper and briefly for a newspaper. i also did some ads.

Since it's a direct picture of her son. Without a model release it opens the doors for potential lawsuits. So you should easily be able to threaten them with that.

I have to agree. My daughter does GA and commented that without a release they are in the wrong obviously. She also(as was done previously) suggest that the forum may hold weight as individuals if they(the supplier) were overwhelmed with requests that the photos be withdrawn.
