    Yes, ladies get skirts lifted.

    Not real often, but it does happen from time to time.
    As well, it's almost always a back "flip" to catch a peek.

    Well in Scotland I've never seen or heard of a female equivalent of this. I don't think it would be considered acceptable at all!

    Bear in mind that the assumption here is that the 'checker' (usually female) will see something, and I don't mean underwear patterns! There is also the 'true Scotsman' thing, and I know for a fact several guys like having their patriotism confirmed! Silly I know, but there you go.

    Having said all that, I do not like females kilt checking my man, drunk or not. The protocol is- ask first, and I will perform the task. There is no self service option in this household. About 75% of the time, the reaction is "mmm, nice tattoo!"

    If anyone attempted to 'check' my Mrs. He would find himself with a severe headache. And after she'd finished with him, I'd probably have a go as well. It's not acceptable behaviour at all...
