Jock, the easiest way to see the area I'm talking about would be to go to www.myglengarry.com On their homepage is an aerial photo of the area. Follow it to the west a little ways and you'll see the little island I mentioned. It looks like there's a footbridge across the river at that point also.

opositive, most of the places that are selling these 'titles' to land say that the money is going to conservation efforts. For instance, the myglengarry site says that this land has been put into a trust and that "...the Trust manages all the land on the owners' behalf, undertaking projects that include work within the native Highland woodlands, the river and its banks, pathways and walks through the area and provides funds to help maintain the ancient Invergarry Castle." Whether they're actually doing that or not, who knows?
