I know, right? My wife had it laid out on the sewing table so that the backside was visible. My immediate thought was "This is NOT what Zardoz was wearing"!. Then I picked it up and was absolutely thrilled. All compliments go to Rocky and Ian. A wonderful job on a beautiful tartan.

Please don't feed my addiction I really loved this kilt, I wanted a semi trad but after careful penny pinching I have ordered a casual just like yours. Yours is one sweet looking kilt, and no offense to Zardoz, I love the pleating.

No offense here! I'm pretty much a pleat to the sett guy, but that set-up looks good too. I bet you get a nice flash of the red when the pleats swish...

Right with ya! You are going to be very pleased, sir. I've been doing my best to beat this thing into the ground and it still looks as good as the day I received it. It is a beautiful tartan, and now know why Rocky's Casuals are so popular.

The red flash is, I'm told, a bit striking and very attractive. Got a lot of compliments on it during our Tartan Days. That's why I generally prefer pleats to stripe. I like the visual contrast between front and back.
