The kilt may be forgiving, to some extent. But the belt and buckle (not the Velcro type) is not. Gain four pounds and you know it. Between October and April this year I added 14 pounds to my weight. I had to find new holes on the straps of my 35" kilts and adjust my belts and I realized that I had better to stop this unhealthy development, should I still be able to wear them.

I have now in a few weeks lost 6 pounds and shall soon be back at 150 pounds.

I think the kilt is very stimulating in this process.
