You look fine! I would not worry about lowering the kilt. From the pics, it looks to be perfect. So many people tend to wear the kilt so that it covers up way too much knee. It looks much better showing more knee, actually.

    Well done indeed.
You didn't mention where you got the kilt?

Actually, there were lots of kilties when we were there (around 2:30 -8:30 PM). Many were attending to the Scotland booth/exhibit, but about five or six were wandering like me.

Got it from Scotweb. I'm now looking at a Black Watch semi-traditional from USA Kilts for "running around town."

Looking good, and congrats on your first time out in your kilt.
Who sponsored/staffed the Scotland exhibit? Is there a Scottish society in the Dayton area?

The St. Andrews Society of Dayton (http://standrewssocietyofdayton.org/) sponsored the Scotland section of the fair. They had haggis, shortbread, etc. -- all home-made. They even had Irn Bru in long-neck plastic bottles.

The United Irish of Dayton (http://www.unitedirishofdayton.org/intro.htm) also had a booth/display. They had Guinness.
