Beautiful, Matt. Absolutely splendid! I wish I could have stowed away on that trip. At least I can now enjoy it vicariously.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Some truly gorgeous pictures, and makes me wish my own trip was sooner.
Still, only 74 days until then. As my son is very keen to remind me...

Spectacular photos from what sounds like a great trip, weather cooperating or no. As said above you have the photographer's eye for composition lighting and exposure, trained or no, high-priced digital SLR or pocket quickie digital, as IMHO many of those photos you posted have the potential for publication. I just caught this thread right before punching out for the day and had to sit down as the pictures took my breath away.
Seeing no other humans in any photos I take it that you did go with your family and choose to keep those photos for family viewing. Now the question everyone has been thinking but not asking-----Did you wear the kilt, and if so how many days and how were you accepted by the "natives"?

Very nice photos Matt. Many of the same places (Oban, Dervaig, Calgary, Mull, Fort William) I will be visiting next month.
