This last sunday was my son's third birthday,so we went to the zoo.It was raining hard most of the day,but my son said that the animals didn't mind if it was raining and they wanted to see him,so off we went.We bought a couple of umbrellas and I put on my tweed(a little over dressed for the zoo but it was fun and I was wam and dry)and this was the first person I ran into
she wears her "kilt inspector" shirt all the time and hasn't run into anyone kilted before
Next was the Minnesota state bird
Then off to the brown bear enclosure where I made a new friend
we spent the better part of the day there and I found that the best time to go to the zoo is on a rainy in the spring,it's the only time I've been to the zoo
and ALL of the animals were active.We had a great time and it would seem that my son was right the animals didn't mind the rain and they did want to see him.
