I'd keep the phone. E.g.: "Dad, Sweetie says her car has broken down. Can you slide around to...."
A nice handkerchief for your darling is a good thing to have too.

I know my hubby carried one of these, I only wish he had sent someone around with it to me before we started so I could have had a nip myself ;-) [Q

An emergency sewing kit is a great idea. You won't need your whole wallet however you might want some cash for tipping a credit card, your I.D. and a blank check or two just in case one of your wedding vendors charges change. A few band-aids to help with the blisters from new or rented shoes. Ask you bride if she will be carrying a bag or not she may like you to carry something for her too.

Nothing...Everything will go perfectly.
On the other hand...better safe than sorry. I had just the one key to my car with the other keys locked in the car. I had some cash, ID, and debit card in the clip of a small pocket knife. Other than the flask, you should be all set. I would leave the sewing kit with a groomsman or other close attendee.

When I go to weddings my sporran typically contains my iPhone, a piece of paper and a pen, my front door key, my id and some money (i ditch the actual wallet), and a small flask of lagavulin. I have also found a small keyring size bottle opener to be a good idea, seem to forever find myself at weddings being handed a bottle of beer without a bottle opener and having to manoeuvre through a sea of people to try and find one...... On my own wedding day later in the year I'll leave the phone out - I'm sure anyone I'd want to be able to find me will know where I'll be that day! and I agree with others, don't think you need anything special....nothing will go wrong and if its does someone will help you for sure!

You are the groom - there should be nothing in your sporran. That is what your best man is for.

Also ask the mother of the bride or groom to take a small sewing kit with thread that matches(or near enough) everyone's dresses, jackets, shirts. At my resort I have a Wedding emergency kit that has saved the day a number of times(in april we rebuilt a stepped on tiara at t-5min) but that
should cover a whole bunch of last minute wardrobe or accessory mishap and on the spot reception repair.
That's my 2p
Best of luck

I dont think i will be needing these items, as the wife has already put together a 'bridesmaids survival kit' which includes all of those items listed, so that will be covered. but i do like your preparedness (very scout like)

I guess a pre-nupt might be considered in bad taste.
