Hmm Tis a desert. Maybe I'm like the wicked witch of the west in the "Wizard of OZ"....

6 inches of rain here IS the distance between the drops on the pavemant before they evaporate!

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

Unless it's balloon fiesta week. Then the rain, when it comes, comes down in buckets! A couple of years ago we were amazed to see the mesas GREEN with vegetation!

If it's the same year, the grass wasn't really established yet and it was a muddy mess. Had to lay tarps out to keep the balloons that did fly out of the mud.

We do tend to get most of our annual rain in a couple of days time. Sometimes nature and the Fiesta don't work together.

As dry as this winter was, I'm afraid there won't be much green. It's gonna be a nasty fire season.

Maybe need a tread on flame retardent kilt materials. This PV would go up like a torch. Grass fires with the wind - ain't gonna out run them!
