After a Winter golf competition, went home changed and showered, went back in kilt, ghillies, aye ghillies, ecru hose, aye ecru hose and Argyll jacket and had a loud cheer when I entered main room.As if my chest wasnt puffed out already. Went to the bar and was checked instantly and congratulated to much hilarity.

I've had several variations on this scenario: A lovely woman comes up to me and says, in a low voice, with dropped eyelids and a suggestive lean towards me, " I love a man in a kilt".
As I have often explained to those who question my predilection, never have I experienced a similar situation where a woman has seductively said to me, "I love a man in pants".
And, there is always Donna, the proprietor of my favourite Toronto pub, the Caledonian, who never fails to make me feel special for wearing a kilt to her establishment, and who chastises me for the times I end up there without being able to kilt up first.
Cheers,
John
