BTW I recently met a family visiting here from Australia who did not believe that raccoons, coyotes, and roadrunners were actual creatures. They thought that these things all were fanciful cartoon creations. I told them that raccoons got into our trash cans at night, that we had a coyote in our back yard a while ago (they're flourishing in suburbia), and that when I lived in the desert, roadrunners were a fairly common sight. They thought I was pulling their leg and didn't believe any of it.

Because of fox sporrans, I've been wondering how much wild life is the same here as in the Brittish Isls. Foxes ,badgers and some type of deer. How would their be foxes both places but not racoons and skunks

    sporrans

Our animals are diff't than they're animls ..they have fish in lochs that are ..artic char or similar ? ..their badger I've seen I've seen folks having as pets our badger North American ..that's a cranky wolverine !

I read in refernces they say otter and badger sporrans way back ..everybody assumes they mean face or mask as the top flap ..I assume they're using these not to be decorative . THEN but beause it was good enough for that ! Being a military contract way back ..I thought they'd be trying to go fast and cheap . I saw a portrait of a gov't tartan I coulda sworn in was Abercrombie ..it looked like a 8x11 purse top ..though had little tassles, tinkle cones or tufts in front scattered ..

that finnish coon is a pretty thing .

They'd bears ..but how close to our black bear ?
