Ran the gauntlet of reactions today..

Went to a wedding reception today in a tux. I was asked by a few of the guests why I was not kilted. After the formalities of the reception, I slipped out and got my kilt on. I must admit, I was far more comfortable kilted than the monkey suit. Upon my return to the reception, I was met with the whole shebang of reactions. Young girls laughed, some raised an eyebrow, others were openly offended, and oddly enough......older women were rather turned on. Thanx to the folks here at X Marks, I was able to handel all reactions in a civil way.
One fellow, whom I had never met before and had been giving me static while in the tux, came to me and demanded to know "Whats up with the skirt?"
My reply," Its only a skirt if I wear underwear"
Stopped him dead in his tracks, and didnt talk to me the rest of the evening.
Thanx again guys for the guidence.

That happens with older women. Something to do with fondly remembered youth, I'm told.
