Going Absent!

Tomorrow morning, and well before sunrise, My bonnie lass and I will begin to wing our way to Scotland. That having been said, this may be my last post for a little over two weeks. It seems to me that we get somewhere between 500 and 600 new posts every day on this forum. That means in two weeks I'll have approximately 8,250 posts to catch up on. I have recently joined the 21 Century, but my phone and tablet are still smarter than I am. I will try to post some pics during the journey, but if I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath, not for two weeks anyway. The only kilt I'm taking is my Xmarks DIY, and I will promise some pics of it (with me in it, of course) on the Royal Mile.

Looks like you picked the right time for your visit.
At long last it is warm, dry and sunny today here in the south of Scotland and it appears that summer has finally arrived.

I know you are going to have a good time. The wife and I were in Scotland in late May, it was wonderful. Spent three days in the western islands of Mull and Iona. Then five more days touring Scotland before crossing over to Belfast and a Irish tour.
