What to wear when your husband wears a kilt?

My wife wears her normal clothing. No need to be twinkies or try to coordinate our wardrobes.

Some ladies wear a tartan sash in the same tartan as their husbands' kilts. We have threads on this subject that you can search for.

I'm not married, but my girlfriend is quite supportive of my kilt wearing and wears various types of outfits when I kilt up, depending on the event... does that count?

I try to wear something I feel comfortable in and that matches the formality of the occasion and my husbands level dress. Be that a dress, skirt, slacks or even jeans I always know who I am leaving with!

I wear my tartan skirt. I'm the only "kilted" one though since my fiance doesnt wear a kilt (this will change someday. He eagerly awaits his future kilt).

A tartan sash in a nice dress works nicely as well, for formal occasions.
