Today I went to the Farmers Market kilted. I live in an area with a lot of foreign emigrants from sundry places around the globe, mostly Eastern Europe, Asia, India (yes I know India's in Asia, but it is its own thing). From the American types hardly a second glance. From some of the foreign women I got the head to feet inventory look, with that sour face expression. The men, nothing. I found it hilarious. Given that you see so many people in various forms of native dress, I was by far not the most unusually clad. But I'll bet I was the most comfortable in the hot sticky weather.

The sari is one of the most attractive garments ever designed for women in my opinion. Some of those fabrics can only be described as luscious.
