I was hoping it was more Tan then green but it grew on me .
the livery color is blue and yellow * for Clan Ferguson and it is just felt cut with
pinking shears and melted on the edge.

The bonnet is very nice, Thomas. In the interest of "getting it right", the livery colors will always include either white for silver or yellow for gold as one of the two. The other will usually be the first color mentioned in the description of the heraldic arms of your Chief. If you can locate a correct color representation of your clan badge, the twisted wreath under the central object will be of the two livery colors.

That is what it looked like to me. It was your narrative description that threw me.

...the livery color is blue and green for Clan Ferguson...
    Nicely done at any rate.

I did mine in grosgrain ribbon...

Really good innovation, Thomas. Like most others I have used ribbon - felt is definitely something to think about!

I should put up a good photo of me in my Kilt so you can all see. This is the first time I actualy wore my kilt. It was at my Battery Christmas Ball Dec 2011. In my dress green coat and my US Army tartan SportKilt. The Red bow tie and flashes represent the Field Artillery. I also added my unit crest to one of the tassels on my sporran too. Be gentle on me it was my first time after all.
