Most of my clothes no-one would want to wear, but one or two of my kilts, as it happens, yes, I have lent them to friends from time to time – though, to be honest, it's not my favourites that I lend!
It just seems such a pity to think of all those beautiful garments (not costumes!) of yours hanging unappreciated in the dark with the moths and the mothballs.
"I might well have opened a kilt museum myself by then!"
Kilts are not for museums !!!
Can you think of anything so dull as 39 kilts on hangers or wax models?
No swing, no waggle, no life !
What next?
How about adopting 30 sons and dressing them appropriately?
(off topic: have you noticed how the Europeans talk to the other Europeans on this forum, while the Americans amuse each other? It's good thing we have a Tasmanian (hi, Graham!) to keep the two communities together.
Martin,
In Grenoble, France.
Don't forget us Canucks! We talk to you guys across the puddle as much as we talk to the Americans.
(We like to keep everyone amused.)
