I hope it all works out well for you. Now that kilts are getting established in San Angelo, I may attempt to wear mine. I am doing a race there this weekend.

The day went really well. I only heard positive comments. I work at a university, managing the parking on campus, one student even asked where I bought my kilt and said he would like to get one. One of my co-workers told me she overheard one individual make a negative comment (which I won't discuss here) but considering who it came from I wouldn't have expected different. Now I just need to buy more kilts so I have more than two to wear.

Great to hear that the new supervisor is ok with you wearing your kilt to work. I wore my kilts to work most of last year and the principal had no problem with that (I'm a High School English Teacher). We have a new Principal this year and will find out what he thinks in a couple of weeks. I started off wearing the kilt on Fridays (dress down days) and progressed to full time during the second semester. Nothing but compliments the entire time and the students, even the Latinos, loved it. Good for you!
