Newbe Needs help with the X-Kilt

O.k. I'm at a stopping point in the X-kilt making and I need pictures because reading does not put the view in my head, and if I can not see it I can not make it. So attaching the Velcro piece to the Apron I am not getting. does anyone have some pic of this stage?

First, make sure you are working from the latest version of the manual! The first version had an error in that part of the process. If your version includes the Reverse Kinguisse supplement, then it is the latest version.

Here's a photo, hope it helps. Note that (in this orientation) the backing material is only sewn to the kilt along the top and right-hand sides. Bottom and left-hand side are not attached to anything -- the stitching you see is just to keep the raw edge of fabric from fraying.

You could use plastic snap togeather buckles (like dog collars, too) I used the leather ones like a traditional kilt uses. Whatever you deside post some photos of the finnished kilt

That's the inside of the front apron. Waistband at top, right-hand inside edge of apron at the right. Hem is not visible, would be "in your lap" if you were holding the kilt this way as you sat at your computer. Deep reverse pleat is lying (laying?) underneath the Velcro strip and you can see the messy inside of bar-tacking toward the lower left-hand corner.
