Derek I was born and bred in the Cotswolds and to my shame have never been to great tew. Lovely pics and makes me feel homesick. The Barringtons , the Rissingtons, the Slaughters, Bourton on the Water, Burford, Bibury, Stow on the Wold. Such magical places and your photos take me right back. Thank you for sharing. Grizzly ... We had a lovely afternoon cream tea in Huffkins in Burford before we set off the the Falkland Arms in Great Tew.
When we were on the road with the band we used to travel quite often via upper n lower slaughter .. its a nice run off the main drag. Still have good friends in Barford St Michael ..

Derek, thanks so much for the photo's and stories. My Mum grew up outside Northleach and finally at age 52 I was able to see the Cotswolds with her, my brother, sister, wife and nephew. We stayed in Stow on the Wold and travelled out from there. My wife and I can't wait to go back and spend time walking the trails. Thanks again, great memories.
